Bally Chohan explains step by step process for publishing shared folders in Active Directory domain.
1. Create new folder. The newly created folder can be named as Test Folder
2. Right Click on the newly created folder. -> Sharing and Security
3. Sharing -> Share this Folder -> (type in the name of newly created Folder) -> Enter description in comments column
4. Start ->Run -> path of newly created folder (this will help you in verifying that share has been properly created)
5. Active Directory -> Users and Computers ->RD OU (Right click)-> Select New -> Shared folder (type in the name of newly created folder)
6. After typing the name of newly created folder enter UNC path ->OK
